HOW IT CAME TO BE

History & design

A helicopter built for the 2024 simulator

Striker is KwikFlight’s twin-seat attack and reconnaissance helicopter for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Its design uses that simulator’s native vortex-ring-state and stability-augmentation facilities, with automatic flight controls supporting hover. These are documented choices in a software aircraft, not evidence of a separately certified helicopter type.

Two connected crew stations

The front and rear cockpits provide four multifunction displays, a standby display and keyboard entry for systems management. KwikFlight describes cross-functional interaction between the crew stations. The mission and weapons systems are specific to its iniManager edition, so those features remain scoped to the package that provides them.
