AirframeDB is a free reference operated by Rohsam Inc. There are no advertisements, advertising profiles or sales of personal information.

Optional email updates
The optional signup records your email address, request and confirmation dates, and the wording version of your consent. A confirmation email is sent before your subscription becomes active. Your address is used for occasional AirframeDB news from Rohsam Inc.; signing up does not affect access to the site.
Confirmation links expire after 48 hours. Unconfirmed requests are removed after 30 days. Every update includes an unsubscribe link; withdrawal removes the email address from the active database. A protected lookup value and minimal withdrawal record are kept for up to 12 months. You can also contact hello@airframedb.com to withdraw, correct or delete your information. No updates are sent without confirmation.
Feedback and replies
The feedback form saves your message, category, any aircraft context, submission date and optional reply email, and sends a private notification to Rohsam’s feedback inbox. An email address is only needed if you want a reply; feedback does not subscribe you to updates. Feedback records are normally retained for up to 12 months, or longer if an ongoing request requires them.
Voluntary contributions
If you choose to contribute, your selected amount and receipt email are sent to Stripe to create a one-time checkout. Stripe collects payment details on its own website. AirframeDB does not store card details or add contributors to the update list. Rohsam can access transaction and receipt records through Stripe for accounting, payment support and legal obligations.
Website analytics
Rohsam hosts Umami to understand which aircraft and resources people find useful. It records page visits, referring website domains, browser and device categories, approximate location and selected actions such as comparing aircraft or opening a developer link. Developer referrals include the aircraft, developer, linked resource and destination domain. A referral count does not establish a purchase or download.
Analytics does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, accounts or session recordings. Email addresses, form contents, search terms, URL queries and fragments are excluded. Connection information, including the IP address and browser user agent, is processed to derive approximate location and short-lived anonymous visit identifiers; Umami does not store the raw IP address. Analytics records are deleted after 12 months.
Analytics starts after an interaction or ten seconds of foreground viewing. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. You can also turn analytics off for this browser; this preference is stored locally and can be changed here.
JavaScript is needed for analytics. With JavaScript disabled, no analytics is sent.
Essential storage and security
Forms use a security cookie to prevent forged submissions. A short-lived cookie carries feedback success references between pages. Protected previews use a sign-in cookie. Your chosen colour theme and analytics preference can be stored in your browser; comparison navigation may temporarily store scroll and focus state. These values are not advertising identifiers.
Hosting and security systems, including Cloudflare, process connection details to deliver pages, limit abuse and investigate faults. Operational records and backups may retain information beyond its removal from the active service until their normal rotation, or longer where a specific legal or security obligation requires it. Form contents are not deliberately included in application logs.
Email addresses, feedback and queued message contents are encrypted in the application database. Queued content is cleared after successful delivery; failed or uncertain messages are kept only for bounded delivery handling. Completed delivery metadata is removed after 30 days. Rohsam’s mail system also holds sent and received correspondence under its operational retention practices.
Access, service providers and external links
Access to saved addresses and operational systems is restricted to authorised Rohsam personnel and service providers acting for Rohsam. Information may be processed in Canada, the United States and locations used by network and security providers, under the laws of those locations. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect the service and its users.
Photographs are served by AirframeDB. Following a manual, developer or other external link takes you to an independently operated website with its own privacy practices.
Your choices and contact
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information held about you, withdraw an email request, or raise a privacy concern. Rohsam may need to verify that a request concerns your own information. Applicable law may provide additional rights; nothing here limits them.
