The company and its aircraft
Leland Snow founded Air Tractor in 1974, drawing on the agricultural aircraft work of his earlier company, Snow Aeronautical. The AT-300 design had first flown the previous year. That background in purpose-built working aircraft provides the starting point for the company’s later Air Tractor designs.
