History & design
A modern two-seat Cicaré
Cicaré’s company chronology records the side-by-side Cicaré 8 introduction in 2015, followed by development of a Rotax 915-powered version in 2020. The same history describes an earlier CH-8 UL project in 1993; that date is not the introduction of the modern Cicaré 8.

Two engine paths
The manufacturer describes Rotax 915 iS and EPA Power 917 Ti installations, with different engine-monitoring equipment. The cabin combines carbon-fibre structure with an aircraft-grade welded steel frame. An aircraft labelled Cicaré 8 therefore still needs its engine version identified.

Systems & details
Central cyclic and governor behavior
A central cyclic provides extensions to both seats, while the pedals adjust for occupant height. Cicaré describes a governor clutch that permits manual power control without first switching the governor off. Below 80 percent RPM during autorotation it waits for the pilot to return the system to its operating range; this is a manufacturer description, not a claim that every add-on reproduces it.
