History & design
A fighter built around dispersed operations
The Italian Air Force describes the G.91 as a light tactical fighter designed around short-runway operation, including grass strips. Range and payload were traded for that ability. Italy began acquiring the type in 1958, with many aircraft carrying reconnaissance cameras in the nose, and retired it in 1993.
The family evolved into distinct roles: the R was the single-seat reconnaissance aircraft, the T a two-seat trainer and the PAN an aerobatic-team version. The later G.91Y had two engines. These are substantive differences, so the selected R1/R3 profile should not inherit Y performance simply because both carry the G.91 name.

Which Gina is represented
The Sim Skunk Works product covers the R1 and R3 rather than the whole G.91 family. Its aircraft-specific cockpit and systems should be read alongside that variant choice when comparing profiles or reference speeds.
