THE AIRCRAFT

Meet Tecnam P2006T

Tecnam developed the P2006T at Capua in Italy as a light twin-engine aircraft. Its shoulder-wing configuration and all-metal construction form the basis of the design. The simulator catalogue offers both analog and glass-cockpit interpretations, with separate MSFS and X-Plane products. Each product's supported generation is checked independently.

HOW IT CAME TO BE

History & design

A light twin for training

Luigi Pascale’s P2006T was conceived around lightweight Rotax engines and the needs of multiengine training. A shoulder wing, retractable landing gear and feathering propellers gave the compact airframe the equipment of a conventional training twin. Later NG aircraft changed the engine installation and cockpit equipment. Simulator products labelled analog or MkII should be read against their own documentation, rather than assuming the equipment of a current NG.
