The company and its aircraft
Companhia Aeronáutica Paulista, usually shortened to CAP, was established in 1942 using the assets of Empresa Aeronáutica Ypiranga. The name identifies a Brazilian manufacturer and should be distinguished from the French CAP aerobatic aircraft associated with Mudry.
