AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURER

Diamond Aircraft

An Austrian aircraft manufacturer with a second major base in Canada.

The company and its aircraft

Diamond’s history began with Wolf Hoffmann’s company in 1981 and the Dimona motor glider. After changes of ownership and name, its range expanded into general aviation aircraft. Wiener Neustadt and Ontario became important manufacturing locations. The DA20, DA40 and twins represented here each have their own design and simulator documentation.
