The company and its aircraft
Eclipse Aerospace acquired assets from the bankrupt Eclipse Aviation in 2009. It maintained and upgraded the existing fleet and became the manufacturer of the Eclipse 550. Its later merger with Kestrel formed One Aviation, illustrating why closely related Eclipse aircraft can appear under different company names in historical sources.
