The company and its aircraft
The Edgley Optica was developed as a light aircraft for slow observation work. Its unusual cockpit and ducted propeller give it a recognisable shape. The Edgley identity here follows the original design; later companies associated with the programme are described in the aircraft history rather than treated as interchangeable manufacturers.
