The company and its aircraft
Learjet began as Swiss American Aviation Corporation and became closely associated with Wichita. Bombardier acquired the business in 1990. In 2021 Bombardier announced the end of new Learjet production while continuing support for the existing fleet. Earlier Learjet models retain their own programme histories within this reference.
