The company and its aircraft
Igor Sikorsky established the company in 1923. Its work included passenger seaplanes before it became a major helicopter manufacturer. Sikorsky passed from United Technologies to Lockheed Martin in 2015. The S-76 is the company’s directly attributed aircraft entry here, with other designs linked through their programme histories.
