Miltech’s MH60 package, developed with Blackbird Simulations, includes Sierra, Romeo and Tango variants. Sierra emphasizes utility and rescue work; Romeo carries maritime mission equipment; Tango represents the Coast Guard configuration. The developer explicitly limits the simulated MH-60T to its external model and cabin: it shares cockpit and avionics with the S/R models. Meet Sikorsky MH-60 Seahawk / Jayhawk

Miltech and Blackbird Simulations' MH60 package includes the MH-60S Sierra, MH-60R Romeo and MH-60T Tango. Sierra serves utility and rescue roles, Romeo carries maritime mission equipment and Tango represents the Coast Guard configuration.

HOW IT CAME TO BE

History & design

Two successors with different missions

The MH-60S entered service in 2002 and the MH-60R reached initial operational capability in 2006. The Navy assigns the R primarily to anti-submarine, surface and electromagnetic warfare, while the S covers combat support, rescue and mine-countermeasure work among its tasks.

The S combines Black Hawk ancestry and naval equipment

The Navy describes the MH-60S as based on the UH-60L with modifications for maritime deployment. It replaced CH-46D and HH-60H aircraft and shares a common glass-cockpit approach with the MH-60R.
