Meet Airbus A400M Atlas
The A400M occupies the space between smaller tactical transports and larger strategic airlifters. Its high wing, rear loading ramp and four large propellers are organised around moving troops and bulky cargo. Airbus developed it as a replacement for older transport fleets including the Transall C-160.
Its turboprops and modern electronic cockpit make an unusual combination in a simulator. Cargo handling, transport missions and flight-deck systems offer different ways into the aircraft; the included manual documents the controls actually provided in the simulated version.

A visual cockpit guide for the Atlas
The iniBuilds A400M guide is largely illustrated and identifies the flight-control unit, ground-spoiler and autobrake controls on the main panel. The archived edition is version 1.0, dated 18 September 2024. Its diagrams are particularly useful for locating controls in a cockpit whose turboprop engines and modern Airbus displays form an unusual combination.
