The developer takes liberties with the real design, including its avionics, guards, lighting and assistance features. Emerald Scenery Design and community contributors supplied racetracks for the package.

History & design
A personal eVTOL becomes a simulator experiment
Got Friends created Astro ONE as an experimental interpretation of the developing personal-eVTOL field. Got Gravel wrote its independent flight model, while Emerald Scenery Design created the Astro Corsa track. Later community collaborations added Astro Canyon and the Astro ONE Roller Coaster track. This development history concerns the fictional rendition.

Custom modes and input assignments
The manual documents terrain tracking, hover, sport and boost modes. Elevator-trim input supplies a forward-flight bias, while the propeller axis controls terrain tracking. Those simulator assignments operate the Astro's custom systems.
An independent flight model for racing
The Astro’s manual describes a locally contained physics model rather than the simulator’s ordinary fixed-wing or helicopter model. Its custom digital display, terrain tracking, sport mode and short boost are paired with purpose-built race tracks. The documented boost lasts four seconds and requires a 30-second motor cooldown. This is a designed virtual racing experience inspired by personal eVTOLs, with deliberate departures from the real Jetson ONE that helped inspire it.
