Aircraft and simulator background
EagleLabs' Eagle 315 is a retro-style general-aviation design created for X-Plane. Its published specifications list two 160 hp engines, with counter-rotating constant-speed propellers and retractable landing gear.

History & design
A virtual twin built for practice
EagleLabs presents the Eagle 315 as a retro-style simulator design built around visibility, readable instruments and VFR/IFR training. Its two 160 hp engines, custom avionics and simulated fuse panel are part of that virtual prototype, rather than a production aircraft’s certification record.

A control-focused revision
Version 2.1, released on 6 June 2024, revised low-speed stability, elevator authority, trim precision and centre of gravity. Differential ailerons and a modified wingtip/aileron arrangement were included to improve roll response as the wing approached the stall. These are documented changes to the simulation.
