Meet Junkers A50 Junior (modern)
The modern A50 Junior retains the open tandem cockpits and visual character of the original Junkers design, but uses a Rotax 912iS engine and contemporary equipment. The developer’s background describes European ultralight approval in 2022 and subsequent US light sport approval.
VSKYLABS models this modern aircraft, rather than the original radial-powered A50. Its X-Plane version uses G1000-based displays in both cockpits, which differs from the real aircraft’s described Garmin G3X installation.
