THE AIRCRAFT

Meet North American T-28 Trojan

The T-28 entered United States Air Force and Navy training use in the 1950s. Beyond instruction, it was adapted for counter-insurgency operations, including service during the Vietnam War. Surviving examples later entered civilian display and aerobatic flying. The T-28C simulator model is identified separately from other Trojan variants.
