Meet Revolution Mini-500

Dennis Fetters designed the Mini-500 as a compact homebuilt helicopter in the 1990s. Its small cabin and light rotor system give it a different operating character from the larger training and utility helicopters in this catalogue.

VSKYLABS’ simulation emphasises manual engine and rotor-speed management and low rotor inertia. The developer describes research with helicopter pilots and audio recorded from the aircraft; these are attributed development methods, rather than an independent fidelity rating.
