The company and its aircraft
Lancair became known for high-performance composite aircraft kits. In 2017 the older designs and the Evolution programme went into separate businesses: the Lancair name continued with the former, while the retained Evolution programme used Evolution Aircraft Company. That distinction matters when following the Legacy and Evolution histories.
