Meet Curtiss P-40 Warhawk
Curtiss adapted the P-36 design into the P-40, which first flew in 1938. The resulting all-metal fighter-bomber served numerous Allied air forces throughout the Second World War. Production ended in 1944. The P-40F simulation has its own variant identity; family photographs and historical accounts can depict other Warhawks and retain those captions.
