THE AIRCRAFT

Meet Draco X

The Polish PZL-104 Wilga was designed as a short-field utility aircraft, with a high wing, extensively glazed cabin and distinctive landing gear. It has served aeroclubs and utility operators in roles including towing and observation.

Mike Patey's DRACO was an extensively modified turbine-powered Wilga. DRACO X in Microsoft Flight Simulator is a separate Got Friends interpretation with its own equipment and features. Its developer manual, rather than a standard Wilga specification, is the appropriate reference for the simulated aircraft.

DRACO X's simulator-specific equipment

The Got Friends manual describes three-axis trim, pilot and copilot autopilot disconnects, G3X-based and custom instruments, and landing-gear squat behaviour. These features belong to DRACO X. They should not be substituted for the equipment of an ordinary Wilga or assumed to be an exact inventory of Mike Patey's original DRACO.
