Meet Guimbal Cabri G2

Bruno Guimbal developed the Cabri after working in the helicopter industry, with the first demonstrator flying in 1992. The production design combines a compact side-by-side cabin, a three-bladed main rotor and an enclosed tail rotor. Commercial service began in 2008.

Its scale invites comparison with the Robinson R22, but the rotor and airframe designs are distinct. The Cabri's documentation is therefore the right reference for its controls and systems, even when both aircraft appear in the same simulator's training-oriented fleet.
