Meet Short SC.7 Skyvan
Short Brothers developed the Skyvan as a practical small transport. A high wing, fixed landing gear and two turboprops surround a conspicuously rectangular fuselage. The aircraft has carried passengers and freight and is also familiar in skydiving operations.
Its appearance reflects a clear priority: usable internal volume rather than a streamlined business-aircraft silhouette. The simulator's cabin, cargo and mission options consequently tell an important part of the story alongside its flight instruments.

Utility aircraft, full set of flight-guidance controls
The Skyvan guide documents a dedicated autopilot master, navigation and capture modes, pitch and roll trim controls, and hydraulic preparation. Its straightforward exterior therefore does not mean the simulator cockpit consists only of basic flight instruments.
