The company and its aircraft
Anthony Fokker founded the company in 1912. It became known for First World War fighters and subsequently for civil aircraft, with a particularly strong position in the interwar years. The company’s 1996 bankruptcy ended that corporate period, but many Fokker aircraft and their documentation remained in use.
