Find aircraft background, systems descriptions and manuals for the aircraft you are researching. Each note keeps its source and version context close by.
Simulator manuals describe the developer’s implementation. Aircraft background is research-based; pilot accounts describe an individual’s experience. Coverage here is limited to the selected notes and linked resources, not the full contents of every manual.
Latécoère 25
The Latécoère 25 served the company’s mail routes between France and North Africa, with later routes extending toward South America. A Saint-Exupéry heritage association describes how the type’s greater mail capacity and room for a radio operator helped change the company’s route planning.

Latécoère 631
The French Latécoère 631 was a six-engine flying boat intended for transatlantic passenger service. Its long hull, high wing and radial engines date from the final era of large civil flying boats. The Second World War disrupted development and service.
Land-based airliners later displaced this approach to long-distance transport. The aircraft's numerous engines and large crew stations reflect the systems and navigation demands of its period.
