History & design
From a prototype to a personal aircraft
Jetson began developing its prototype in late 2017 and reports its first crewed flight on 28 February 2018. The project pursued a single-person electric aircraft with computer-assisted controls, rather than a conventional helicopter cockpit.

Systems & details
One hand commands the flight computer
The four-axis joystick commands altitude and direction through an electronic control system. Jetson describes hands-free hover and radar-assisted automatic landing. These are functions of its flight-control system; the published description does not specify a mechanical stick-force law.
Compact, with a short endurance envelope
The aluminium spaceframe surrounds the pilot, with eight propellers supplying lift. Folding reduces the width for storage. The approximately twenty-minute flight time and software speed limit are manufacturer figures; they describe a compact recreational aircraft rather than the range of a travelling aeroplane.
