Piper Comanche
The Comanche first flew in 1956. Piper gave it a low wing, an enclosed cabin and retractable tricycle landing gear, creating a substantial touring aircraft. Different engine and seating developments followed, alongside the related but separate Twin Comanche line.
Production ended after the 1972 flood at Piper's Lock Haven plant. The A2A simulation concentrates on a particular Comanche and its mechanical behaviour, including persistent engine and airframe condition. That makes the developer's full manual considerably more useful to a simmer than a list of exposed variables alone.

Piper PA-18 Super Cub
The Super Cub developed from earlier Piper Cub designs and entered the range in 1949. It retained the braced high wing and tailwheel layout while adding power and equipment for a wider working role. It has been used for glider towing, banner towing and remote-area flying.
Individual aircraft are frequently modified, with different engines, wheels and equipment. The familiar Cub outline therefore does not establish a single set of specifications. Simulator packages should be read with the represented variant and installed cockpit in mind.

Turbo Arrow flight controls
The Turbo Arrow manual describes the stabilator's anti-servo/trim tab and the spring-centred rudder-trim mechanism. These controls remain separate from the turbocharged engine's management. The dedicated manual is useful when comparing the Turbo Arrow with both the normally aspirated Arrow and fixed-gear members of the PA-28 family.

Piper PA-28 family
The Cherokee family was built around an all-metal airframe, an unpressurised cabin and a single piston engine. Its low wing provides the step into the right-side cabin door. The range developed through different engines, wing shapes and undercarriage arrangements.
A Warrior, an Arrow, a Turbo Arrow and a Dakota are meaningful model distinctions. Fixed versus retractable gear and normally aspirated versus turbocharged engines change the systems a simmer will encounter. The developer manuals below keep those details attached to the actual implementation.

Piper PA-28-236 Dakota
The Dakota takes the PA-28's low-wing, four-seat layout into a more powerful touring configuration. Its fixed tricycle undercarriage distinguishes it from the retractable-gear Arrow, while the six-cylinder engine separates it from the smaller Warrior.
The PA-28-236 designation identifies the aircraft more precisely than Cherokee alone. It retains the family's stabilator and single right-side cabin door, but its engine, loading and performance figures need Dakota-specific context.

Piper PA-31 Navajo
The Navajo family combined a low wing, twin engines and tricycle landing gear for practical transport work. Production ran from 1967 to 1984, with licensed manufacture in Latin America as well. The PA-31 name includes variants with different cabins and capabilities. Simulator enhancements retain the identity of the base aircraft they require.
Pipistrel Taurus M
Pipistrel designed the Taurus to combine independent launching with gliding flight. Its long wing and compact two-seat cockpit follow the sailplane role, while the propulsion installation can be stowed when it is no longer needed. Different powerplant developments exist within the family.
The Taurus M identifies the engine-powered version represented in this catalogue. Its flap, airbrake and landing-gear controls belong to a sailplane cockpit, making it a different proposition from a touring aircraft that happens to have a long wing.

Pipistrel Virus SW 121
The Virus family was developed by Pipistrel in Slovenia. It combines a lightweight airframe with an enclosed side-by-side cockpit and fixed landing gear. Different versions have been supplied under several light-aircraft categories and construction arrangements.
The SW 121 is a specific variant, rather than a label for every Virus. Wing, engine and cockpit differences across the programme make that suffix useful when selecting information. Its developer documentation is the reference for the aircraft's actual simulator equipment.

Pitts Special
Curtis Pitts's design first flew in 1944 and became closely associated with competition aerobatics. The short fuselage and tightly stacked wings make the Pitts immediately recognisable. Successive versions developed the basic idea with different engines, seating and airframe details.
The S-1 and S-2 are useful distinctions for a simmer: the single-seat aircraft and larger two-seat versions are not interchangeable models. Their cockpit views, proportions and equipment differ, even though both belong to the same aerobatic family.

Reims F406 Caravan II
The F406 Caravan II came from cooperation between Reims Aviation and Cessna. Despite the Caravan name, it is a twin-engine utility aircraft and is distinct from the single-engine Cessna 208 family. Its own airframe, systems and simulator documentation are grouped here to keep that naming overlap clear.
Robin DR400/100 Cadet
The DR400 uses a wooden structure and a large canopy over a side-by-side cabin. Its cranked wing, with dihedral on the outer panels, is a visual hallmark. The aircraft has been widely used by French flying clubs for instruction and personal flying.
Different DR400 variants use different engines and serve different roles, including towing. The DR400/100 Cadet in the catalogue is a particular lower-powered development. A larger-engined Robin photograph or specification is family context rather than a precise Cadet reference.

Robinson R66
The R66 uses a Rolls-Royce RR300 turboshaft engine and includes a separate baggage compartment. Its outline remains recognisably related to the R44, with a two-bladed main rotor and a compact cabin. Certification was obtained in 2010.
The turbine engine is an important dividing line from the R22 and R44. Engine indications and management belong to the R66's own systems description, while avionics and stabilisation equipment depend on the installation represented by the simulator developer.
