Find aircraft background, systems descriptions and manuals for the aircraft you are researching. Each note keeps its source and version context close by.
Simulator manuals describe the developer’s implementation. Aircraft background is research-based; pilot accounts describe an individual’s experience. Coverage here is limited to the selected notes and linked resources, not the full contents of every manual.
Short Stirling Mk1
Virtavia's Stirling package includes Mk I aircraft, including a Pathfinder fit, plus Mk III and Mk IV versions. Its manual identifies pitch and rudder trim, while the aileron uses a preset spring tab instead of cockpit roll trim.

Shorts 330 / C-23 Sherpa
The Shorts 330 combines twin turboprops, a high wing and a box-shaped cabin in a short-sector transport. BlackBox’s Regional Series also represents the military C-23 branches, retaining their separate cabin and mission configurations. The 330 and later 360 share a product package but have different airframes and flap-position tables.
The systems manual describes rods and cables operating the primary controls, with trim tabs in pitch, roll and yaw. Hydraulic services operate other equipment without boosting those primary surfaces. The columns have stick shakers, and the landing gear retracts. These details make the 330 a manually controlled transport with warning and configuration systems around its yokes.

Shorts 360
The Shorts 360 is the larger civil transport represented alongside the 330 in BlackBox’s Regional Series. Twin turboprops, a high wing and a rectangular cabin give it a utility-oriented shape, with a flight deck built around yokes, engine and propeller management, trim and retractable landing gear. Its systems tables distinguish it from the smaller 330.
Primary control rods and cables carry pilot commands directly, and tabs provide pitch, roll and yaw trim. The manual lists three nonzero flap positions for the 360. Both control columns have stick shakers, adding a warning function to the manually controlled cockpit.

Sikorsky MH-60 Seahawk / Jayhawk
Miltech and Blackbird Simulations' MH60 package includes the MH-60S Sierra, MH-60R Romeo and MH-60T Tango. Sierra serves utility and rescue roles, Romeo carries maritime mission equipment and Tango represents the Coast Guard configuration.
The simulated MH-60T has its own exterior and cabin but shares the S/R cockpit and avionics, as documented by the developer.

An additional S-76 choice for MSFS
CowanSim’s official manual identifies the S-76C++ package for MSFS 2020 and 2024. Its v1.2.0 description includes alternative VIP, medical and offshore cabin configurations. This is separate from the S-76 supplied with X-Plane.

Light bindings reflect this package’s controls
The setup guide maps taxi-light events to landing lights and landing-light events to the searchlight. Recognition-light commands control the alternating landing lights, while Toggle Wing Lights operates the rotor-tip lights. Hardware profiles need to follow these package-specific assignments.

Autopilot engagement and coupling have separate commands
The guide distinguishes switching both autopilots on or off from disconnecting their actuators from the flight director. It also documents a separate collective-drive arm command. Those controls represent different actions in the package, even where the simulator’s event names resemble fixed-wing functions.

Sikorsky S-76
The S-76 was Sikorsky's first helicopter developed for the civil market. Twin turbines, a four-bladed main rotor and retractable gear supported passenger, offshore and emergency-service roles.
Engines and avionics changed across the programme. An S-76C+ photograph shows that particular version; simulator manuals identify the cockpit and autopilot equipment represented by their models.
