Find aircraft background, systems descriptions and manuals for the aircraft you are researching. Each note keeps its source and version context close by.
Simulator manuals describe the developer’s implementation. Aircraft background is research-based; pilot accounts describe an individual’s experience. Coverage here is limited to the selected notes and linked resources, not the full contents of every manual.

The represented Super Cub cockpit
Laminar's Super Cub guide identifies pitch trim, stick controls and the installed instruments. It documents this particular aircraft's panel rather than proving that every Super Cub has the same navigation or automatic-flight equipment.

The Arrow's stabilator and landing-gear system
Just Flight's Arrow manual describes an all-moving stabilator with an anti-servo/trim tab, plus spring-centred rudder trim. It also covers the automatic landing-gear extension system fitted to the represented aircraft. The stabilator moves as a unit, unlike a fixed tailplane with a separate elevator.

Turbo Arrow flight controls
The Turbo Arrow manual describes the stabilator's anti-servo/trim tab and the spring-centred rudder-trim mechanism. These controls remain separate from the turbocharged engine's management. The dedicated manual describes the Turbo Arrow's configuration.

Flaps, pitch and the stabilator
Just Flight's Warrior documentation describes the pitch changes associated with flap movement and the use of stabilator trim to relieve sustained control pressure. It also identifies the rudder's spring-trim arrangement. The manual describes how the trim mechanism acts on the controls.

Compact sailplane controls
The Taurus M cockpit has an elevator-trim handle, flap controls and retractable landing gear. A combined lever serves the airbrake and parking-brake functions. The cockpit diagram locates these controls in the side-by-side cabin.

Two wings and independent trim
The manual places elevators on the forward wing and ailerons on the rear. Separate elevator and aileron trim controls accompany the reflexor, which raises the rear ailerons by shifting their neutral position. The control therefore differs from a conventional flap lever.

Quickie Q200
The Quickie Q200 uses two lifting wings arranged in tandem. Its elevators are on the forward wing and its ailerons on the rear wing. The reflexor changes the rear ailerons' neutral position, giving the pilot a control distinct from conventional wing flaps.
Lionheart's rendition has independent elevator and aileron trims. The developer describes a two-seat fiberglass and Kevlar homebuilt with a 100 hp Continental O-200, alongside simulator navigation and autopilot equipment.

The cockpit includes Laminar’s GNS530
The guide describes Laminar’s interpretation of the Garmin 530 and a separate transponder. The centre console places cyclic friction, right trim, carburettor heat and fuel controls within another illustrated area. These diagrams help locate controls before using the manual’s simulator checklists.

Direct controls and a mechanical trim aid
The R22 overview describes direct, unboosted controls. Its right-trim system uses a pulley and spring arrangement to relieve cyclic load associated with faster flight. This is a mechanical trim aid, distinct from the autopilot or stability systems described for larger helicopters.

Cowan’s panel choices and assistance belong to its package
The v2.3 product description lists analogue, G530 and GTN panel options, plus a custom SAS and autopilot with force-trim release. Those are Cowan’s chosen simulator features and differ from the basic mechanical trim described in the Laminar guide. Optional GTN integrations have their own dependencies.

Robinson R22 Beta II
Frank Robinson developed the R22 as a light two-seat helicopter, with production beginning in 1979. Its compact cabin, exposed tail boom and two-bladed rotor became familiar in training and private use.
The Beta II uses unboosted controls and trim arrangements described in its simulator manual. The cyclic trim cord relieves control force; it is not an autopilot.

Give the collective and twist throttle separate assignments
The R66 manual explicitly requires separate axes for collective and throttle. It identifies COLLECTIVE AXIS and SET HELICOPTER THROTTLE AXIS, and recommends using the mouse for the throttle when no dedicated axis is available. Engine-RPM trim is listed separately from cyclic trim.
