TorqueSim offers piston and turbine Islanders
TorqueSim describes separate BN-2B and BN-2T packages, respectively using Lycoming piston engines and Allison 250 turboprops, with X-Plane 12 support. Its published feature list includes custom fuel and electrical systems, individual breakers, persistent switches and a load manager.

A conventional radio panel with optional integrations
The Islander’s listed avionics include a KFC 225 autopilot, GTX 345 transponder and KR 87 ADF. X-Plane’s GNS units are supplied, while RealityXP navigators and the AFM G5 require their separate products. TorqueSim also links its manual and changelog from the aircraft page.

Britten-Norman Islander
Britten-Norman designed the Islander in the 1960s as a light transport. Its roles span regional passenger services, utility work and military operations. Piston and turbine implementations appear in the simulator catalogue, with their own package names and documentation. The long production history makes variant and equipment context especially useful when comparing examples.

CAC Boomerang
Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation developed the Boomerang to meet Australia’s urgent wartime need for a fighter. The project drew on experience with the Wirraway and produced a single-seat, low-wing aircraft powered by a Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp radial engine.

CAP 4 Paulistinha
The Paulistinha belongs to the history of Brazilian flying clubs and basic aviation training. Its braced high wing, enclosed tandem cabin and tailwheel undercarriage follow the practical light-aircraft pattern of the period.
The CAP-4 name identifies a particular development within that history. In a catalogue full of large jets and elaborate glass cockpits, it offers a different scale of aircraft: a compact trainer whose structure and controls are comparatively easy to understand from the cockpit and exterior.
