Side controls with conventional trim
The Laminar guide identifies the represented aircraft as an SR22T and describes its side controls, pitch-trim indication and relief of sustained fore-and-aft pressure. The side-control layout is not evidence of an airliner-style fly-by-wire system.

Panel generation and simulator version matter
TorqueSim's SR22 history records changes to trim authority and autopilot/control behaviour. Version 2.1 moved the G1000 aircraft to the X-Plane 12.1 X1000 and excludes older simulator versions; 2.1.1 removed the Gizmo dependency. The developer also distinguishes G1000 and Entegra products, so both the panel and release belong in a useful aircraft description.

Two helicopters, two automatic flight-control systems
Taog's AS365N2 uses the AP155/CDV85 installation, while the HH-65A has a different four-axis AFCS and flight-director system. Their upper modes can take control of the collective as well as the cyclic. The manual explains collective alignment, trim-release behaviour and the accommodations for spring-centred desktop controls. It is worth selecting the aircraft variant before selecting its control bindings.

Variant-specific hardware controls
The binding guide publishes separate input events for the Dauphin and HH-65. Axis values use the documented -16384 to 16384 range, and momentary buttons require both press and release actions. Similar display names do not make the two variants' events interchangeable. The technical-reference entries retain the exact identifiers rather than inventing a shared mapping.
