Find aircraft background, systems descriptions and manuals for the aircraft you are researching. Each note keeps its source and version context close by.
Simulator manuals describe the developer’s implementation. Aircraft background is research-based; pilot accounts describe an individual’s experience. Coverage here is limited to the selected notes and linked resources, not the full contents of every manual.

An aircraft that retains its mechanical history
A2A's Accu-Sim 2 Comanche uses its external Merlin flight-physics system and a per-cylinder engine model. The manual describes fuel priming, fuel contamination and ground behaviour that responds to tyre loading. Persistent aircraft condition connects one simulator session with the next, while the maintenance and inspection interfaces make that condition visible. The full manual is the starting point for understanding the aircraft; the separate variable list serves cockpit builders.

Loading the aircraft belongs to Accu-Sim
The Comanche's tablet handles fuel, passengers and baggage through Accu-Sim's own simulation. A2A states that the default MSFS weight-and-balance menu is not supported for this aircraft because the model uses external code. The tablet shows a live centre-of-gravity diagram as the load changes, provides fuel presets and can update the JPI engine monitor's fuel state. This is a consequential difference from a default simulator aircraft, even before considering how either one flies.

Condition, inspections and configurable equipment
The maintenance interface records engine and airframe hours and provides an inspection diagram showing the condition of individual systems. Its New, Used and Auction starting conditions give the same aircraft different mechanical histories; the Auction option can produce a wide range of condition. The maintenance page also provides an overhaul function.
The manual describes selectable airframe modifications, soundproofing and a choice of McCauley or MT three-bladed propeller. These are configuration options within A2A's model. These features are specific to A2A's Comanche.

Piper Comanche
Piper's Comanche first flew in 1956 with an all-metal low-wing airframe, enclosed cabin and retractable tricycle gear. Later versions changed engine power and seating, alongside the separate Twin Comanche line.
Production ended after the 1972 flood at Piper's Lock Haven plant. A2A models a particular Comanche with persistent engine and airframe condition; its manual describes the loading, maintenance and mechanical systems included in the simulation.

Piper PA-11 Cub Special
The PA-11 developed the J-3 Cub before the later PA-18 Super Cub. Its changes included an enclosed engine cowling, a larger 18-gallon fuel tank moved into the left wing and revised seats. The first flight was in 1945.
Flight Replicas represents a present-day aircraft with radio, transponder and electrical master switches. Its manual identifies a stick, pitch trim, fixed tailwheel gear and no flaps.
Piper PA-11 Cub Special
Piper PA-18 Super Cub
The Super Cub joined Piper's range in 1949, developing earlier Cub designs with more power and equipment. It retained the braced high wing, tandem cabin and tailwheel layout. Its working roles include glider towing, banner towing and remote-area transport.
Many individual aircraft are modified with different engines, wheels and equipment. Each simulator package identifies its represented variant and cockpit.

Piper PA-22 Tri-Pacer
The Tri-Pacer is the tricycle-gear member of Piper’s compact cabin-aircraft line represented in Lionheart’s Pacer Series. That package also includes tailwheel and specialized Pacer configurations, placing the undercarriage choice within a broader family of closely related light-aircraft forms.
Carenado’s PA22 product represents the Tri-Pacer in X-Plane. Its package includes normal and emergency procedures and performance tables. The Piper Aviation Museum preserves contemporary Tri-Pacer sales brochures and equipment sheets, providing a period reference alongside these later simulator renditions.

The Arrow’s fuel and electrical indications
The Arrow III manual describes two wing tanks feeding a selector with left, right and off positions, supported by engine-driven and electric pumps. Its ammeter indicates electrical load, not battery discharge.

Turbo Arrow flight controls
The Turbo Arrow manual describes the stabilator's anti-servo/trim tab and the spring-centred rudder-trim mechanism. These controls remain separate from the turbocharged engine's management. The dedicated manual describes the Turbo Arrow's configuration.

Use the tablet to configure a personal aircraft
The TX/LX’s EFB includes weight and balance, aircraft state, engine condition, interactive checklists and dynamic paint schemes. Its electrical breakers connect to X-Plane’s failure logic. The page also documents selectable spark-plug fouling and vapour-lock effects, giving the cockpit displays and configuration menus specific systems to explore.
