FOR AIRCRAFT DEVELOPERS
Research aircraft and systems
Find aircraft background, systems descriptions and manuals for the aircraft you are researching. Each note keeps its source and version context close by.
Simulator manuals describe the developer’s implementation. Aircraft background is research-based; pilot accounts describe an individual’s experience. Coverage here is limited to the selected notes and linked resources, not the full contents of every manual.

A G1000-equipped homebuilt in X-Plane
Laminar's RV-10 guide documents stick controls, electric pitch-trim commands and a G1000/autopilot panel. That avionics choice identifies the represented homebuilt aircraft. A later special livery does not, by itself, establish a new control interface or different underlying aircraft systems.

Press, hold and release have different effects
The Scout/Wasp guide describes an autopilot-master interaction that captures stabilised pitch, roll and speed according to mode. Holding the control allows manual input, with release returning to the documented stabilised behaviour. The button's state is consequently part of its meaning, not just its display label.

Savage Norden · Microsoft Flight Simulator · MSFS 2024
Slats, autopilot arming and a towing configuration
The Norden guide identifies electrically operated slats and a separate autopilot arming switch and breaker. It also describes a banner-towing variant specific to MSFS 2024. These are concrete distinctions from the other Savage aircraft, rather than features that can be inferred from a shared Cub-like shape.

Zlin Aviation Savage Norden
The Norden develops the Savage family's high-wing, tandem-seat formula around short-field flying. Its leading-edge slats are a visible distinction from the simpler Savage Cub, and its substantial undercarriage fits the utility role.
Got Friends documents electrically operated slats in the simulated Norden, along with autopilot arming controls and a banner-towing configuration for MSFS 2024. These are specific features of this implementation, whose manual is linked beside the systems section.
