Microsoft introduced the Halo Infinite Pelican as a free Flight Simulator add-on in June 2022. This entry is about a fictional aircraft and its simulator experience. Its performance and systems are part of that game representation, with no real-aircraft counterpart implied.

The DG-1000 first flew in 2000. Its long wings and T-tail surround a two-seat cockpit, with developments offering different spans and launch arrangements. The DG-1001 continued the line with further refinements.
The DG-1001E adds a Front Electric Sustainer: a nose-mounted electric motor with folding propeller blades. DG describes it as a way to continue a soaring flight when lift becomes scarce. Sustainer capability should not be confused with self-launching. Motor controls and battery indications are consequently important details of the represented aircraft.

The LS8 was developed by Rolladen-Schneider and later produced by DG. Its slender fuselage, long wing and single-seat cockpit reflect its cross-country soaring role. The design became established in both Standard-class and 18-metre competition flying.
The LS8-18 name identifies the longer-span configuration. Launch method, ballast and available cockpit instruments are separate equipment questions, so they belong with the individual simulator implementation rather than being inferred from the family name or a photograph.
