Find aircraft background, systems descriptions and manuals for the aircraft you are researching. Each note keeps its source and version context close by.
Simulator manuals describe the developer’s implementation. Aircraft background is research-based; pilot accounts describe an individual’s experience. Coverage here is limited to the selected notes and linked resources, not the full contents of every manual.
Piper Comanche
Piper's Comanche first flew in 1956 with an all-metal low-wing airframe, enclosed cabin and retractable tricycle gear. Later versions changed engine power and seating, alongside the separate Twin Comanche line.
Production ended after the 1972 flood at Piper's Lock Haven plant. A2A models a particular Comanche with persistent engine and airframe condition; its manual describes the loading, maintenance and mechanical systems included in the simulation.

REP for Just Flight Arrow aircraft · SimCoders · X-Plane 11 · X-Plane 12
The normally aspirated REP requires the X-Plane 12 Arrow
SimCoders explicitly requires Just Flight’s X-Plane 12 Arrow III for this enhancement. It excludes both the Turbo Arrow and the older X-Plane 11 Arrow. Documented additions include a custom IO-360 engine model, automatic gear extension, an interactive walkaround and a maintenance hangar with persistent aircraft condition.

The Turbo Arrow REP has a different version requirement
The separate Turbo Arrow enhancement requires Just Flight’s older X-Plane 11 base aircraft; SimCoders explicitly excludes its newer X-Plane 12 counterpart. Its TSIO-360 simulation includes turbo lag, interactions between engine controls, selectable fixed or automatic wastegates, and maintenance options for oil, plugs and exhaust equipment.

A twin whose condition carries into the next session
REP adds a walkaround, towing, a mass-and-balance tool and maintenance reporting. Its description says battery state and engine temperatures continue across sessions, with elapsed time affecting the next start. An optional economy system attaches virtual costs to fuel and repairs, and the preheater can remain active while the simulator is closed.

The maintenance hangar keeps track of wear
The hangar covers engine, electrical, brake and tyre maintenance, including oil choice and battery charging. Damage and related features can be disabled through the package’s options.

Each livery keeps its own condition
Aircraft state persists separately for each livery, with cumulative damage. The maintenance report provides condition checks and repairs; the damage and maintenance system can be disabled.

TL-Ultralight Sting S4
The Sting S4's POH describes mechanical primary controls. An in-flight adjustable elevator tab provides pitch trim; tabs on the rudder and right aileron are adjusted on the ground. Electric flaps have discrete settings.
FSReborn's simulator product includes custom Rotax behaviour, maintenance and ballistic recovery, with MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 support.

TL-Ultralight TL3000 Sirius
TL-Ultralight's Sirius maintenance manual identifies mechanical aileron pullrods and the cable attachment for its elevator trim tab. These are separate mechanisms for primary roll control and pitch trimming.
FSReborn represents the TL3000 in MSFS 2020 and 2024 with custom Rotax behaviour, wear and maintenance. The manufacturer's airframe mechanisms and the add-on's simulated condition systems have their own source descriptions.
