FOR AIRCRAFT DEVELOPERS

Research aircraft and systems

Find aircraft background, systems descriptions and manuals for the aircraft you are researching. Each note keeps its source and version context close by.

Simulator manuals describe the developer’s implementation. Aircraft background is research-based; pilot accounts describe an individual’s experience. Coverage here is limited to the selected notes and linked resources, not the full contents of every manual.

Embraer EMB-110 Bandeirante ↗Research-based aircraft background

Embraer EMB-110 Bandeirante

The Bandeirante's controls are cable-operated, with trim tabs on three axes. NextGen's July 2026 manual describes these mechanisms alongside the cockpit and autopilot equipment of its native MSFS 2024 generation.

The earlier EMB-110 package contains P, P1 and P1K aircraft with modernised navigation choices. V2 is a separate MSFS 2024 product, with P, P1 passenger, P1 cargo and P2 configurations and its own custom interfaces.

Optional guidance accompanies a complete flight

The ERJ Family 2.0 listing describes AirComms prompts covering startup through shutdown, including reminders for missed actions. The guidance can be disabled when the user wants to manage the flight without it.

Embraer ERJ family

The ERJ family grew into several related regional jets, including the 135, 140 and 145. The same lineage also led to Legacy business jets and military derivatives. Specifications and simulator packages identify the regional-airliner variants they describe.

Embraer Phenom 100 ↗Research-based aircraft background

Embraer Phenom 100

The Phenom 100 is the EMB-500 light business jet. The NTSB’s description of the original model identifies two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F-E engines and a Garmin-based automatic-flight installation. Its cockpit includes a stall-warning and protection system with AoA sensors, a warning computer and an actuator connected to the elevator control system.

The protection system provides aural warning, low-speed awareness indications and a stick-pusher action. Its thresholds change with the aircraft’s ice-protection configuration.

An enhanced G1000 with clearly identified simulator conveniences

Aerobask extends Laminar’s G1000 with synthetic vision, custom alerts, engine displays and selectable units. The developer explicitly calls the buttons used to access electrical, anti-ice, fuel and status diagrams fictional. Optional input aids and detachable windows support different simulator setups. This cockpit should not be confused with the later real-world G3000-equipped 300E.

Cabin controls and refuelling are interactive

The package lists a functioning exterior refuelling panel, baggage and service doors, and a passenger tablet controlling cabin features such as shades and tables. Preferences carry between flights, while AviTab and a separate options panel provide access to simulator settings.
