Control tabs, trim tabs and the Sperry autopilot
The DC-6 manual distinguishes spring control tabs from trim tabs. They are different mechanisms, even though both involve small surfaces attached to larger controls. The Sperry A-12 autopilot also has a trim servo that responds to sustained pitch imbalance. That period system helps explain why the DC-6 cockpit is organised differently from a modern jet's flight-guidance panel.

DRACO X's simulator-specific equipment
The Got Friends manual describes three-axis trim, pilot and copilot autopilot disconnects, G3X-based and custom instruments, and landing-gear squat behaviour. These features belong to DRACO X. They should not be substituted for the equipment of an ordinary Wilga or assumed to be an exact inventory of Mike Patey's original DRACO.

Observation-aircraft layout with modern navigation options
Got Friends documents a KAP140 autopilot used with the Working Title G530, along with pilot and copilot autopilot/trim-disconnect controls. Crew-dependent ballast options are also described. Those loading choices are a particularly useful detail in a small aircraft with its occupants far forward in the glazed cabin.

Flight-guidance behaviour and documented limits
X-Crafts documents autopilot disconnection from manual pitch trim or stick-shaker activation, and uses X-Plane's control-wheel-steering facility for Touch Control Steering. The reviewed release does not implement several trim cutouts and column-disconnect functions. The manual identifies those limits explicitly, keeping visible cockpit hardware distinct from working simulator controls.

Accessible systems with a documented autopilot scope
DC Designs describes an accessible A-10C implementation and identifies its trim and autopilot controls. The guide states that the autopilot does not provide NAV-coupled operation. That gives readers a concrete expectation without inferring combat-system completeness from the aircraft's name.

The package includes different engine configurations
The Fokker guide separates the single-engine F.VIIa from the trimotor aircraft, with their own weights and limits. The extra engines change the model's configuration, so the versions should not share one undifferentiated specification panel.

Fokker F.VII
The F.VII helped establish early airline networks and long-distance flying. Fokker's initial design used one engine in the nose; the better-known trimotor developments added engines beneath the wing. Cabin size and powerplant choices varied across the family and its licensed production.
The F.VIIa and F.VIIb names therefore carry meaningful configuration differences. The simulator package includes aircraft from this wider history, making model selection more than a cosmetic choice. Period navigation and the relationship between cabin, wing and engines are central to the type's character.

Different control axes use different feel mechanisms
Just Flight's F28 guide describes spring feel and datum-shift trim for roll and yaw, with a different arrangement for the elevator. Hydraulic failures also have distinct effects depending on the system involved. The stick shaker disengages the autopilot's pitch channel in the documented design, connecting stall warning with flight-guidance behaviour.

The Ford Trimotor package offers modern navigation and autopilot equipment alongside its period instruments. Braking uses the documented lever arrangement rather than conventional toe brakes. Both details are useful when choosing a cockpit configuration or setting up simulator controls.

Ford 4AT Trimotor
The Trimotor combined a high wing and fixed landing gear with three engines: one in the nose and one beneath each wing. Ford's involvement brought a famous industrial name to a growing air-transport market. The design served airlines, government operators and military customers.
Its cabin and cockpit show a stage between open-cockpit flying and later pressurised airliners. The simulator's optional modern navigation equipment is a separate installation, useful to identify rather than quietly folding it into the history of the original aircraft.
